FIND OUT WHAT'S OF MEANING TO YOUR CLIENTS, THEN CAPTURE IT.

The best part of taking pictures for others is learning about the individual at the end of the lens. Finding out what it is that is of meaning to them and then from there figuring out how to capture it in a picture... for them to remember that moment forever.

Having *tagged along* this Eastern North Carolina Quail hunt over Christmas break taught me a lot and I don't mean how to shoot Quail. I learned about *the dog* and it's roll. Specifically different trainings that *the dog* is taught and it's purpose, for example pointing. It was a little difficult for me to maneuver myself in a way to capture a great pointing shot, with not wanting to be a distraction to Jo Jo or Rocky and also being positioned in a safe angle, but this is a challenge all #photographers face no matter what it is their capturing.

These experiences teach you to listen to your client with not just with your ears, but eyes too. The more you learn about them the better prepared you are for capturing the shots they'll love the most. To me, this is one of the best parts of #photography !
